Purple Room. The 'purple' room with rosewood & mother of pearl panel. Sarongs are provided as standard dress for the duration of your stay.
Studio. The studio opens onto its own private lawn with morning view of monkeys leaping through the jungle. It was previously Rebecca's private studio where so much of Tiger Rock artwork was produced. The studio is its own private hideaway.

A heaven within a heaven! Mohan’s expert management and Bavani’s superb cooking combined to make this a memorable visit, made even better in the knowledge that everything was fresh local produce.

Residence

3 houses are available for private rental. The houses have their own living, dining and kitchen areas (the Studio shares those of the Main House). In addition they share a large library pavilion below the Main House, and the fantastic pool and Pool House which is fabulously situated with views over the bamboo and jungle. The Pool House is the heart and meeting place at Tiger Rock and becomes the central dining area when all houses are in use. It is stunning at night when candlelit for barbeques and seafood dinners. A shop near the Pool House stocks Rebecca’s designs, clothes and ceramics, sketches, cards and collected bits and pieces. Tiger Rock is also available for private events and functions of a celebratory.

Food

All meals are provided at Tiger Rock by our management and caretaker team of Mohan and Bavanni. Bavanni our chef, cooks the most delicious food using fresh local ingredients, and Mohan is our most charming host and Manager, anticipating your every need. Children can be catered to separately, their tastes often different to adults, or at earlier times to allow proper bedtimes. Babysitters are available. Special diets e.g. vegetarian, gluten fare etc. are also catered for. It is definitely worth noting that local island food is delicious and we have a list of recommended island restaurants. Guests on a longer stay are encouraged to take a breakfast trip to Sungei Pinang Kechil where a brilliant 'street breakfast' experience happens every day.
